The Operational Backbone: From OTR Driver to Fleet Operations Manager, my foundational expertise isn’t built in a tech incubator—it was forged on the highway. My journey began in 1997 as an over-the-road (OTR) driver, training with Schneider National Carriers in Green Bay, Wisconsin. As I navigated the country’s highways, it instilled a deep, permanent respect for the road, the trucks, and the pride of execution.
Over the next 25+ years, that path transitioned from the driver’s seat to leadership, most recently serving as an Operations Manager in the high-volume waste and disposal industry.
In this role, I managed a team of Drivers and Technicians, while maintaining Federal and State compliance to deliver customer and corporate satisfaction, monitor KPI’s, and P&L statements to meet budget requirements for my business unit.
